It is the world’s largest mall by total area and the 26th largest shopping mall in the world in total available for rent, both of which are linked to the older West Edmonton Mall and Fashion Island (Thailand). The total retail floor space is 502,000 square meters (5,400,000 square feet). In 2011, it was the most visited building on earth, with more than 54 million visitors each year.
